5 Year WarrantyDefine Instruments guarantees all of our products to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and service, for a period of 5 years from the date of shipment.

This warranty includes the product functioning to all advertised specifications. If a product fails to meet specifications, we will inspect the product under warranty and will repair or replace it, at our discretion.

Our obligations under this warranty are limited to replacement or repair of products which are returned to our facility within the warranty period, transportation charges pre-paid, and which are, after examination, deemed to be defective. In no event shall our liability, in law or otherwise, exceed the original purchase price of the product. Any repair or replacement of the product does not extend its original warranty period.

Exclusions

This warranty does not apply to any equipment which has been repaired or altered, (except by Define Instruments), or which has been improperly installed or subjected to misuse, negligence or accident.

While we are pleased to offer suggestions on the use of our various products, either by way of printed matter or through direct contact with our sales/application engineering staff, it is the responsibility of the user to determine the suitability of the product for the intended application before using, and assume all risk and liability in connection with this. Products that exhibit exposure to conditions not consistent with unit design or function will not be considered for credit, even though they may be within the warranty repair period.
